The Krum Gallery
celebrating Jewish & American refugee and immigrant art

About Sidney Krum

This gallery was made possible through the generosity of the Estate of Sidney Krum. Mr. Krum came to the United States as a child from the Polish town of Anatolia. Though he was a lawyer, he spent the bulk of his career as a teacher in New York City public schools. Throughout his life, he remained dedicated to his Jewish heritage and the education of the young people of his adopted city.

The Krum Gallery commemorates Mr. Krum's passion for the arts by celebrating the artistic contributions of refugees and immigrants to Jewish and American life.
